green card approval after 7 years of appeals

We are happy and proud to announce that one of our clients was granted a 10 year green card today after 7 years of fighting the government for it. When this client first came to our office he had a very messy divorce with a former spouse and a finding of fraud against him by USCIS.

Whenever there is a finding of fraud by USCIS on any application submitted to them. USCIS applies a strict rule denying any and all subsequent applications or petition no matter if it is a legitimate one or not. This bar is a essentially a lifetime bar as it does not matter if the finding was 5, 10, or 20 years ago.

In this case, USCIS ruled that his first marriage was done solely for immigration purposes. We had a hard fight to overcome this finding and was able to eventually convince USCIS that it was not a fraudulent marriage but a very toxic relationship that had very little signs of a typical marriage. By doing so, we were able to get USCIS to approve his second marriage to his current spouse, who he has 3 children with currently.

Days like this give us true fulfillment in our work and makes the fight worth it. This client is now able to fully live out his American dream with his young family.
